swimming equipment

1 ) Swimsuit/swimming trunks

For women, it is recommended to wear a one-piece swimsuit/vest-shaped two-piece sports swimsuit. You can also wear a white T-shirt and shorts over your swimsuit when swimming, but be careful not to let the clothes hinder your swimming practice and body movements. For men, it is recommended that you wear tight-fitting swimming trunks. We do not recommend wearing loose-fitting waders or beach shorts. Swimming trunks are roughly divided into three lengths, triangle, square, and knee-length. You can choose according to your preferences.

2 ) Swimming goggles

Swimming goggles protect the eyes from the irritation of the pool water while also helping swimmers see their surroundings more clearly. The front surface of swimming goggles must be absolutely flat and not spherical. This will not cause parallax due to the head being sometimes above and sometimes underwater during swimming, which will accelerate eye fatigue. People with myopia should also choose a fully corrected degree to see clearly. . Beginner swimmers or those who don't swim often can choose casual swimming goggles with a comfortable design. People with regular swimming habits need to consider stability, which is suitable for smaller mirrors, softer nose buckles or adjustable nose bridges. Frame of swimming goggles.

In addition, depending on the light in the swimming environment, you also need to choose a comfortable lens color. If you are mostly in an outdoor swimming pool with strong light, it is recommended to choose black lenses or reflective mirrors; while in indoor swimming pools with darker light, you can consider transparent or light-colored lenses. Remember to put on swimming goggles and gently press the lenses with your hands to squeeze out the air inside so that the goggles fit snugly and snugly on your face. Adjust the elasticity of the headband until it is slightly tight so that it does not get wet. But don't adjust it too tightly, otherwise you may get a headache or eye pain.

3 ) Swimming cap

A swimming cap can reduce the damage caused by chlorine in the pool water to the head and hair. Wrapping the hair is also more hygienic and can reduce resistance, making swimming smoother. In terms of material, silicone swimming caps are the most commonly used. They have good elasticity and tightness, are waterproof, and do not deteriorate easily. They are suitable for general swimmers or competitions.

4) Quick-drying towel

After swimming, you need to wipe your body with a towel and dry your swimming equipment to keep it clean and dry. Please remember to pay attention to hygiene, do not borrow other people's towels, and be careful when wiping your eyes with a towel to prevent conjunctivitis or eye inflammation.

5 ) Ear plugs

Not everyone needs this equipment, mainly because the water that enters the ears while swimming usually slowly flows out of the ears after leaving the pool. However, since everyone’s body constitution is different, water in the ears may cause pain and affect hearing. Therefore, it is recommended that people who have suffered from ear diseases such as otitis media can purchase earplugs specially designed for swimming to avoid large amounts of water ingestion while swimming.

6) Nose clip

The main purpose of wearing a nose clip when swimming is to prevent water from pouring back into the nasal cavity, causing choking and nasal discomfort. Therefore, if you are a short-time diver or a beginner, you may consider wearing a nose clip moderately. In addition, the nose clip can prevent water and bacteria from entering the nasal cavity and protect the nasal cavity; it is an excellent object for professional swimmers or swimming beginners, and can reduce resistance and thereby increase swimming speed.

7 ) Floating board

For those who are new to swimming to practice floating or leg movements, a kickboard is especially useful. A kickboard helps you practice leg movements or improve buoyancy, so buy a good quality kickboard.

8 ) Water sleeves

For those who are new to swimming, it can help beginners focus on the movements of one hand.

9 ) Other supplies

You can also prepare the following items according to your needs: waterproof bag, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, comb, water bottle, sunscreen, etc.

What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularized in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy . Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
